  • What is a Respiratory Protection Program?

    A Respiratory Protection Program is a plan that your facility puts together to list all of the steps the facility takes to protect employees from respiratory hazards. These hazards can be chemicals, diseases, or other substances. OSHA requires that each facility has this plan in place.

  • What are the components of an RPP?

    Your RPP plan will assess which hazards are present at a your facility, list what respirators are available at your facility, list the procedures of using respirators and managing hazards, and list the procedures for medical evaluations and fit-testing.

  • Why should a facility have an RPP?

    The best reason to have a complete PRR in place is to protect yourself and your colleagues. This plan is also a requirement from Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

  • Is there a cost to doing this program?

    There is no cost to participating facilities. This project was made possible by a grant from the Illinois Department of Public Health.

  • Air Purifiers

    Participants that complete the webinars will receive FIVE air purifiers and five sets of extra filters. You can place the machines in isolation rooms or gather them together in communal areas.

  • Fit-testing Hoods

    Two fit-testing hoods will be delivered to you for hands on practice during the self paced fit-testing module. After you master the skill your facility will be able to fit test all your employees with the included testing solution for 100 people.

  • RPP Policy Templates

    Our team will share a set of policy templates to complete and customize to fit your practices. A thorough policy is the cornerstone of a good RPP.
